I have been working on a computer with an overheating problem.  I found that the fan on the heatsink seemed to be running slow like the bearings might be going out.  I could not find a fan of the right size to replace it with, so I am using a three speed 80mm case fan with a round shute to blow the air right on the heatsink.  Seems to be working.  I will let it run for a while to see.
